INCLUSIONS
MEDICAL CONSULTATION ON CLIENT’S STATE OF HEALTH
• Consultation on the patient‘s state of health is performed by the Head Physician/Deputy Head Physician of the rehabilitation department on the basis of the provided medical documentation including X-ray/MRI images (consultation takes place before the client arrives in the Czech Republic via e-mail in cooperation with QuickER and the clinic representative)
TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT
• Transport from the airport to the accommodation is arranged by the clinic
HOSPITALISATION
• Before health care services are provided, the patient shall pay the balance due for the full amount of the ordered service.
• The rooms are luxuriously equipped double rooms with a bathroom, multimedia system, television, radio and access to the Internet.
• The hospital guarantees meals 3 times a day – the patient chooses lunch and dinner for the duration of the stay on the day of arrival (a choice from five meals is available – one for lunch, one for dinner). On the day of admission, the patient is given only lunch and dinner. The catering provided takes into account the patient‘s diet and current state of health.
• The program commences with a comprehensive diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system followed by establishing an individual program according to the current health condition. A rehabilitation physician performs this examination.
• The patient is familiarised with the house rules of the clinic, treatment plan, and the informed consents are is signed.
• On the day admission day, a rehabilitation plan and a procedure plan are set up after the initial examination. The schedule of individual physiotherapy sessions is always planned only for the following week.
• The patient has the first procedure on the next working day after the admission; in individual cases on the same day
• A guarantees of 3 to 5 treatments a day, on weekends, and public holidays the number of treatments is limited.
INDIVIDUAL PHYSIOTHERAPY
• Takes place every workday
• It starts with an input kinesiological analysis and ends with an output analysis performed by a physiotherapist
• According to the diagnosis, the therapists use some of the following techniques: mobilisation and manipulation, kinesiotaping, sensorimotor stimulation techniques, Sister Kenny’s method, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, DNS, the Brunkow Method, the McKennzie Method, the ACT Method, spinal spine stabilisation, stability training, gait and movement correction, active and passive exercise with aids, the Back School and much more.
GROUP PHYSIOTHERAPY
• Under the guidance of an experienced physiotherapist who adapts the difficulty of exercise to a specific group of clients according to their individual capabilities
• Patient groups are divided according to similar disabilities
HYDROTHERAPY PROCEDURES
• Partial whirlpools for the upper and lower limbs, full body baths, underwater massage, carbonic full body bath, free swimming in the pool, group exercise in water.
PHYSICAL THERAPY
• Laser, magnetic therapy, ultrasound, analgesic currents, lymphatic drainage, electrostimulation
MASSAGE
• Reflex massage, underwater massage, relaxing massage, cupping therapy
FITNESS CENTER
• under the supervision of a physiotherapist who recommends which machines are suitable for the client to exercise on and supervises the correct execution of the exercise
The number and type of procedures is determined by the physician according to the client‘s current medical condition.
FINAL EXAMINATION
• At the end of the stay, the patient undergoes a final examination by a physician and receives a release report in Czech.
• The patient will receive the translated report in their preferred language no later than five working days from its issue.
TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
• Transport from the clinic to the airport is arranged by the clinic.
NOTES:
The clinic does not guarantee a therapist of the same gender. It is only possible to swim in the pool in a European-style swimsuit. All group therapies are mixed, with both men and women being together.
You can also use a number of commercial services for an additional fee, such as peat wraps, manual lymphatic massage, foot massage, cupping massage, sauna and more.
Interpretation services are granted to patients every day, especially during examinations, ward rounds and procedures. If you are interested in above-standard concierge services, their price is governed by the valid price list.
